I wrote this little novella way back in Art school. To date, I think it might actually be one of my favorite stories I ever wrote. It’s a retelling of Aesop’s classic Fable “The Grasshopper and the Ants”, but with the moral flipped, since, in real life, things don’t usually work out the way they do in fables. But I guess the same can be said for comic books about talking insects that know Kung-fu… Enjoy!
